Preventative Visits and X-Rays

We also recommend that your child be seen every six months for preventive care. We will mail you a post card reminding of your child's six-month check-up. During these biannual appointments, Dr. Tew will also assess your child's dental & skeletal development and how it relates to future orthodontic treatment. Dr. Tew is trained in the application of orthodontics and will regularly discuss treatment options, concerns and any referrals if needed.

Based in the results of your child's initial examination including x-rays, we may recommend one or more follow-up visits for completion of any existing dental treatment.

Many times extensive and costly dental and orthodontic treatment can be averted through timely pediatric care as the face, jaws and teeth are developing.
